Mote Park

450 acres of mature parkland with a 30 acre lake, providing a wide range of recreational activities. Pitch and Putt (18 holes), children's play area, horse riding (permit only). The area around the lake is used as a cycling path. Mote Park also hosts Kent County Cricket matches and is home to Maidstone Leisure Centre.

 

A miniature railway gives rides to the public every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday afternoon from March until mid-October from 2.30pm - 5pm. For more information on the miniature railway visit the Maidstone Model Engineering Society website
